I'm a board/hardware engineer with over 27 years experience working with networking, multimedia and embedded products. My projects have included mixed digital and analog and high speed digital board design from simple two layer boards to complex multi-layer boards for high reliability environments. I have worked in the areas of Consumer Electronics, LAN/Networking, Embedded Processors, Broadband and Cable Modem, PC Multimedia, Rambus Memory, Video Capture and Output, Modem CODEC/DAA Interfaces, MPEG Video and more.

As a contract engineer, my motivation is fueled by a desire to do the job right while keeping my customers happy. This includes, if needed, doing the entire job from architecture and definition to electrical and mechanical design, prototype, test, regulatory certification, production and documentation.
